100 Percent Irish: Murphy's Stout and Murphy's Red Kick Off St. Patrick's Day
Promotional Elements to Drive Volume of Murphy's
during the St. Patrick's Day Season
White Plains, NY - When it comes to celebrating St. Patrick's Day, few beers really capture the true essence of the Irish spirit. Murphy's does. Murphy's Stout and Murphy's Red Beer, brewed according to the original recipe from Cork, Ireland, represent the Irish spirit-feisty and brimming with attitude.
Beginning in March, Murphy's will kick off St. Patrick's Day with a wide range of promotional items that will be available for both on-premise and off-premise retailers, where legal.
For on-premise accounts, Murphy's Red and Murphy's Stout banners and pennants will be available, as well as Murphy's branded t-shirts, hats, key chains, and other fun, high-visibility St. Patrick's Day themed promotional items. Murphy's branded beer cups, imprinted with www.drinkmurphys.com and a traditional Irish toast will also be available.
For off-premise accounts, Murphy's branded case cards, banners, pennants and beer cups will be available.
"Murphy's Stout and Murphy's Red are distinctive premium beers that bring the true taste of the Irish spirit closer to home," said Damiano Possenti, Star Brand Imports marketing manager for Murphy's. "The St. Patrick's Day season is the ideal time for retailers to acquaint customers to Murphy's, because once they do, consumers will want to enjoy it throughout the year."
Murphy's drinkers will tell you that one of the most important aspects of drinking a stout is the "perfect pour." In fact, the "perfect pour" has developed such a reputation that Murphy's created an interactive challenge at www.drinkmurphys.com where consumers can practice pouring the perfect pint of Murphy's Stout.
