Affligem Hosts Keg Tap to Celebrate the Debut of Affligem Noël on Draught to the U.S. Market
White Plains, NY - Brewed especially for the holiday season, Affligem Noël, a true Belgian abbey Christmas Ale known for its rich, complex flavor, will mark its annual seasonal arrival with the introduction of Affligem Noël on draught in select U.S. markets. Imported from Belgium, these specialty kegs will be available in an extremely limited quantity for a short time only.

For over 900 years, Affligem has been brewed with only all-natural ingredients like artesian well water and the finest hops and malt. A fine dosage of yeast lets Affligem condition in the bottle. Affligem Noël is a dark, ruby red abbey beer that has the fresh aroma of wonderful spices, such as liquorice and orange zest. An intense, sweeter taste than the other products in the Affligem line, Affligem Noël has an alcohol content of 9% alcohol by volume.
In addition to Affligem Noël being offered on draught, this great liquid will continue to be available in individual 750ml cork-finished bottles; the perfect size to share.
About Affligem:
Founded in 1074 by Benedictine monks, Affligem is the oldest abbey in Flanders. Artifacts indicate the abbey was brewing beer for pilgrims as early as 1129. Eight centuries later, a Friar Tobias married the traditional Affligem recipe with modern techniques. He called the result "Formula Antiqua Renovata." Following the Friar's rules, only all-natural ingredients are used: artesian well water and the finest hops and malt, while a fine dosage of yeast lets Affligem condition in the bottle.
